TWX closing bell report -- what do the numbers mean?

Is this seriously the calibre of postings thats going to be posted on these new AOL Finance Blogs? I thought it was going to be serious content. Guess not. I certainly won't be back.

I was also looking forward to interesting informed insightfull commentary on time warner. It is not funny to be glib while people are suffering and losing as much money as the time warner shareholders are. I like the idea of a blog, but I would like to read one that has information as well as opinion. thanks

Once it was fresh. The second time it's boring and the freshness has wilted. If you want to run the blog for TWX, at least try to make it interesting. You are going to lose your audience faster than AOL is losing subscribers, SI is losing readers and CNN is losing market share.

Guys, you don't have to read the rest of the entry beyond "Today, Time Warner closed at 17.40, a gain of 0.23%." because that's what the post is about. There's no harm in making relatively boring news entertaining is there?

Oh wait, I forgot! All people involved in stock trading are boring people with no lives and hate laughter in any way shape or form. Anne, please REFRAIN from adding anything that could be construed as "funny" to your posts. The stockholders can't take it!

Anne, this post is garbage. Conrad seems to think it contains some sort of humor, but I'm sorry, if this crap is what passes for humor then I suggest you get Dave Chappelle to assist you in your posts cause your stuff simply ain't funny. Maybe if your post was 0.23% funnier I would have given it a pass, but I guess 0.23% is the difference between a good post and utter trash like this.

Please turn this blog over to someone with a degree in Finance ... or a degree at all. For the amount of press these new bloggingstocks got, the execution is a horrible embarassment (like so many other things) for Time Warner.

Time Warner (TWX) has divisions that are making great money and has great products up and coming. The cable division is a great example of how innovation is changing the business and how the business is growing with innovation.
Ex. On Demand, Interactive TV, Go back, and Digital Phone are just a few of the things that Time Warner Cable is doing to drive business. Cable is not the only division of the company making head way and I will say without reservation that TWX is a Strong Buy and is Undervalued. I think if AOL was sold off the company would break 20+ easy.

The stock has hovered around the $17.00 level for some time. It probably has more downside protection than a lot of other stocks. I remember when Apple was dow at $15. I bought it at twenty, itwentdown a few bucks so I sold it. Where is it now, a few years later? I wonder if management is cooking up some growth and the time to buy is now. Getting higher a bit is a start. Is that what this stream is really about?

This place is not for Bloggs but for Blah....Blah...completely dysfuntional. Coming back here, no way José!, I prefer the Washington Post comics, at least there are some serious jokes. Keep killing AOL subscriber base. You're a good at it.
