"Good night and good luck" were Ted Turner's final words to Time Warner shareholders Friday, paraphrasing legendary newsman Edward R. Murrow, as he left the board of directors, severing his ties to the media conglomerate.Was it sour grapes? Here's what we know:
- Turner did not stand for re-election to TWX board of directors
- He didn't stay for the video montage in his honor
- He disappeared before former CNN chief Tom Johnson gave a long tribute to him
Or is Turner simply hoping George Clooney will make a movie about him, as Clooney did for Murrow in the recent biopic Good Night, and Good Luck?

Ted Turner was and is a pioneer. I remember well the laughs all gave this slick tongue man in the 70s for an all day and night 24/7 news channel. He who laughs last, laughs loudest!
However, while I would invest in anything Ted would do, I am not sure at his aging looks graceful, his innovation and more importantly, his inpatience to get their has past him.....
