More

GE finished the day at $33.29, down 16 cents. The week marches closer towards Friday, when we will get to hear how GE thinks its last quarter has gone. Although it seems to be spinning off unprofitable ventures, NBC is still dragging the company a down a bit. Today came news that network TV has hit a new viewership low. Everyone is out ignoring the reruns and enjoying summer. NBC Nightly News was even singled out as having slipped, being beaten by ABC in ratings.

It'll be interesting to see what Jeff Immelt has to say on Friday about this continuos stream of media frustration with NBC.
