The headquarters of eBay, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:EBAY) PayPal division was apparently bombed on Halloween night, as the San Jose, California headquarters was partially evacuated after four plate-glass windows were blown out and police became immediately involved.Investigators on the scene apparently were able to determine that the bomb blast was intentional. The blast was caused by an explosive device being placed outside an exit at the building that leads to the company's first floor network operations center.
Although PayPal's business operations were not disrupted, the building was closed yesterday and cordoned off by police tape. Roughly 1,900 eBay and PayPal employees working in the building that was targeted were asked to work from home or at another eBay campus in San Jose, according to reports.
It's certainly a relief to hear that nobody was hurt, but it remains to be seen what the motive behind the explosion was and the effect the bomber wanted to have. Perhaps someone tired of PayPal's fee structure? Who knows.

I really wish bloggingstocks would take their troll problem in hand. Following through the eBay related blogs has become quite a tiresome experience as legitimate bloggers opinions are being drowned out by a heckler in the cheap seats who resorts to insults when his opinion is countered.
Opinions are like ***holes - everyone has one. Everyone also has the right to air their views without being accused of criminal intent. Punching below the belt only shows the true metal of the poster concerned.

Rather whining I have a solution! Have users pay a nominal fee to access this forum to rid of the riff raff? I know it's difficult given it's a public blogging site.

Now we have over 20 million possible suspects....
Question: How did Gary get first hand news of the bombing and tipping Blogging Stocks so quickly?
Hmmmmmmmmmm........

Yes Sigh, 20 million suspects. Would you like me to name them?
(Alex Pulls out troll repellent and coffee, and prepares for a long night).
PS: #7. You're treading on VERY thin legal ice.

Realsigh - do you work for eBay or are you an investor? I'm just curious to understand why you take such a hardline stance against those whose opinions differ?

LOL Melody... And you know, Melody, I told sigh on another blog that I'm the one who told Gary and I read about it on a UK board... Had already hit the US eBay Boards by the point...
LOLOL... Boy, he isn't the smartest one in the bunch!!!

You know Melody, I've been following BS for quite a while now and it has become quite apparent that Ann and Sigh don't have anything legitimate to contribute so they just bash anyone who happens to come along. They can't present a choherent argument and resort to personal attacks to cover the fact that they have nothing to say. They wouldn't last 2 seconds in a proper debate. I wouldn't worry about them. Anyone reading their comments will quickly come to the conclusion that they are without substance.

Hi Lauren
That's the problem isn't it? There is no reasoning with mass debaters.

I've been reading these blogs for a while, and the only hate I have seen has been from Sigh aka RealSigh. (re: post #3) This is obviously not the place to come to get real information about investments, as it seems the so called investors are in reality hate mongers who resort to name calling instead of pointing out fallacies in opinions other than their own. I thought most of us left this behavior behind in grade school?

Sigh, dear, where were YOU that day? You were unusually quiet on the blogs! Your brain really should engage before your fingers start typing. You are so obvious as to be transparent!

Are the blog writers reading this slander of a huge contributor of information on bloggingstocks.com?
I wasn't kidding on the other blog about sigh crossing the line with his implying that any one of us would have anything to do with the bomb instance at PP HQs... And not only is he baiting all bloggers that differ from his opinion, he is flat out accusing a very large contributor here... With this complete public slander it overrides any of his childish spaghetti sauce and space cadet talk... These are serious accusations, and I am asking that the blog writer please not allow such banter to occur here...
While I realize we are on a public forum, this is turning into a circus, and I think sigh just crossed that thin line into serious defamation of character legal issues...
Hope you have a good lawyer, sigh... Cause your IP address is also logged... You may be able to bait us and call us names, but there are laws against implying and accusing US citizens of felony crimes...
Whether you are in the US or not, you should be held to these laws... You have gone too far this time.

Sigh/Real Sigh needs to be ignored. The poor thing cannot even spell correctly. Most of its' comments are laughable at best, and hard to read because of the grammatical/spelling errors. If I do decide to invest in eBay stock, it will be in spite of someone like this 'supposed' investor with its' cowardly name calling.

Very much so agreed, Amber, although I still do believe there are are legal issues occuring due to it's posts...
And, just to set the facts straight, I have yet to be banned anywhere, and do in fact, have a vested interest in eBay and their future/non-future as a company...
I am an independent, AND I run a group of very concentrated, focused members whom have facts and figures regarding all that is eBay; good and bad...
I know how to play hard ball, but I do it legally and within the scope of every area I am active in...
Back to the topic, still waiting to hear who did this heinous crime...
Speculations are running rampant across the internet...

Again, you are publicly slandering someone who obviously had nothing to do with the bombing of the Paypal HQs...
Revenge against a non-human being is not comparable to revenge against a human being...
You do not like the opinions and facts set forth on these blogs, so you will stoop to any level to discredit anyone who is not an eBay cheerleader, even to slanderous and illegal activity...
And I highly doubt Fruity even reads your posts... Don't give yourself that much credit...
You are in violation of the site's policy's... You should not be allowed to post here... Not an opinion, but a fact...
Your problem with Gary or any other blogger has nothing to do with your actions today... You crossed a line...
You are childish and illiterate, but that would not be grounds to discredit you; Insinuating or outright saying any of us here would commit a felony does.
