The headquarters of eBay, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:EBAY) PayPal division was apparently bombed on Halloween night, as the San Jose, California headquarters was partially evacuated after four plate-glass windows were blown out and police became immediately involved.Investigators on the scene apparently were able to determine that the bomb blast was intentional. The blast was caused by an explosive device being placed outside an exit at the building that leads to the company's first floor network operations center.
Although PayPal's business operations were not disrupted, the building was closed yesterday and cordoned off by police tape. Roughly 1,900 eBay and PayPal employees working in the building that was targeted were asked to work from home or at another eBay campus in San Jose, according to reports.
It's certainly a relief to hear that nobody was hurt, but it remains to be seen what the motive behind the explosion was and the effect the bomber wanted to have. Perhaps someone tired of PayPal's fee structure? Who knows.

We have good news and we have bad news.
The good news is that no one was injured in the bomb blast at Paypal headquarters.
The bad news is that now Law Enforcement is going to be asking a lot of questions.
In situations such as these, the first question that cops ask is:
"Do you have any enemies?"
Of course Paypal will assure law enforcement that they have no enemies and everyone loves them.
Next, the cops will begin an extensive web search for terms such as:
Paypal,
Sucks,
Steals,
Lies,
Robs,
etc...
Upon searching those terms, they shall surprisingly uncover the tens of thousands of unique complaints regarding customer interaction with Paypal which are splattered all over this here internet.
They shall tally the complaints.
They shall chart the offenses.
They shall total the revenue losses.
Then, they shall decide on a course of action. It shall most probably be initiated with a statement similar to this:
"Ummm Paypal... We've got a problem."
Oh, and in case anyone wonders, I like cops and I hate bombs.
So YOU little *sigh* can kiss my former Wisconsin State Certified Officer of the Court...A##.
We'll wait here while you fail to find yours with both hands.
Have a nice day!

Hmmm more heat than light I fear, the action of someone in the bombing is unacceptable, and thankfully no one was injured.
However the previous comments only serve to highlight the considerable bad feeling towards eBay and its subsidiary PayPal. In some respects I can understand the bombers frustration because metaphorically both ebay and PayPal need a bomb up their backside to get them to wake up to what they are doing to the place. How a corporation can get so many people annoyed in such a short space of time is amazing.

Unfortunately there isn't many major businesses that can avoid the attentions of a nutter at times. Shall we let the police do their job and see what the outcome is?
We've all seen the endless and repetitive posts made by the dynamic duo and there's no need to point out the lack of quality or genuine content. If we ever see a comment from either of them containing some worthwhile insight, considered analysis or an objective viewpoint then we will know it's time to take them seriously. Until then...

Interesting analysist, Alex...
I have taken the appropriate steps, within my rights as a US citizen to stop the continued defamation of character that is occuring on this blog...
And referring back to the topic at hand, one of the speculations surrounding this horrendous attack on PP HQs is that this could possibly be an inside job to promote media attention for PP and eBay...
Interesting speculation...

To blogging stocks
I have followed the blogging stocks site for many, many months even though I dont always comment on things.
The appearence of Sigh and Ann became very difficult to deal with and chased me away from my daily joy of reading it. I hope that you will concider the requests of some of these bloggers and put bloggingstocks back at the top of the game. The gutteral nonsense from 2 of your bloggers needs to stop!
Thank you for your honest commentators and thank you to all the other great bloggers.
