Buying into a concept -- holographic 3D video gaming

One of the things that attracted me to BloggingStocks.com in the first place was that the cutting edge analysis this site provides on the tech stocks, gives me a chance to objectively test some of my conceptual thinking. You see, I'm one of those goofy people who think up things that are not yet a reality. I believe that in the world of mental gymnastics they call it conceptualizing. Some call it crazy. I just think it's fun.

Most of my concepts are built around things that already exist or upon ideas someone else has carelessly tossed aside. I'm reminded of the sixteen year old boy who had the bright idea to make disposable golf tees out of mud and grass seed so they could be left on the course when they have expired. I believe the kid is retired now. He deserves it. What a priceless mind!

What I've been toying with lately isn't actually my own idea. They've been tossing it around for a few decades. I'm just hoping to give some investors a long range heads up because all the technology exists now for it to become a reality. I'm sure some of the sharp shooters out there could dig around and find out who's working up the details and how soon this will come to pass.

The concept I'm thinking about is in home holographic 3D video gaming. Does that sound kind of awesome? Imagine having your favorite video game projected in 3D right in the center of your living room! I don't have the slightest idea what it would cost to create such a system but I can guarantee you that for the right money they could produce you such a thing right now. We have data processors that could handle the load, we have projectors of data and light, we have 3D video modeling and we have interactive utilities that could integrate with all of these other technologies.

I imagine the first production prototypes would price in at about $30,000. Then I suspect that the first public release models might sell for around $10,000. I would expect that with an initial mass production price tag of $4,000 these units would slowly gain steam and I would suspect that in full production, units like I am imagining would sell profitably and speedily at about $2500. These numbers are pure speculation of course. I am neither a technical engineer nor a production specialist, but for two hundred and fifty K a year, I'd be happy to develop a proposal!

I would very much like to hear from our readers if they can offer any insight into this idea. Where are the developers on a concept such as this and how are my numbers? Who is working on it and how grand is the plan? Any leads you could give us could possibly provide the basis for an excellent long term portfolio I think.
