Trump stomps Rice and I do some stomping of my own

More

As reported by The New York Daily News, Donald Trump was addressing a group at the Learning Annex Real Estate & Wealth Expo, on November 19th and was quoted a stating, "Condoleezza Rice, she's a lovely woman, but I think she's a b----. She goes around to other countries and other nations, negotiates with their leaders, comes back and nothing ever happens."

Well that may be so, Donald, but at least she has better hair than you do.

Donald Trump is increasingly disgusted with the manner in which American government is dealing with the entrepreneurial spirit these days. In consideration of the fact that Mr. Trump is a self made success, I think he has every right to be upset. I believe, however, that the problems associated with growing a successful business from the ground up don't lie strictly within the government. Yes, excessive government causes many small business hardships and we need to deal with that, but I'm seeing an ever increasing volume of personal and social "score settling" being injected into the business world and I, for one, am troubled by it.

I'm hesitant to cite specific instances because that would cause me to lay bare the social agendas of some very significant corporations. Then I would be slipping into the same behavior that I'm complaining about. Hypocrisy is one thing I have never been successfully accused of and I don't plan on opening up that option now. I make it my business to know the business of the people I do business with. I have cringed in the past when I've supported a product with my money, only to find out that they back political action that goes against my very ideals. Imagine buying an American flag sewn in communist red China for instance. Gee, I hope I don't offend anyone who has recently done that.

Every member of an American labor union is, in my opinion, duty bound to know where their union dues are going. I hear volumes of negative chatter about how much money corporations make and how they support political factions. I hear troubling little discussion about how much money union leaders make and where they direct the funds they strip from hard working Americans. Based on the research that I've done, I bet there's a significant bunch of "good old boys" who would have a hard time swallowing their next beer if they knew what their union bosses were doing with those union dues they're collecting.

Pass the word around folks. Spend some evenings doing some Internet research. Find out what your union is doing with your hard earned money. Decide if you support their goals. You may have to dig a bit deeper than you expect, but the information is all available. Find out what politicians your union supports and then check out those politician's voting records. I aim to see the cloak of secrecy stripped away from American labor unions and their deeper political agendas. I have turned over a lot of stones. I don't like what I've found under some of them.

Yeah, there's going to be some shaking up of the American business landscape when the Democrats come slinking into power. They're already doing some sabre rattling outside Wal-Mart 's and Exxon's doors. Well, I have something to say about that and by now they know that I don't like to keep quiet. I have never been satisfied with just standing by and pointing a finger at trouble. I'm in the habit of throwing open some doors.
