Best & Worst: Oprah Winfrey too powerful, too rich?

Who said you had to create software to be famous? Creating or producing a product can be done in many forms.

There are creations of the mind and the spirit as well. Oprah knows who she is. Find out who you are. It is your choice as to what you buy. This is American. Don't down other people for the products that they produce even if you haven't matured enough to understand them.

In reading comments about Oprah Winfrey, I observed that the majority of negative comments came from people that could not spell simple words. That's what hate will do for you. It confuses the mind to the point where you cannot think. I love Oprah because she is intelligent.

Bob Johnson lost his billionaire status when he divorced wife Shiela. The billion was split between them. That left Oprah as the world's only black billionaire for 3 straight years. Michael Lee Chin's also a billionaire but he's technically not black, as most of his ancestors are not sub-Saharan African, but rather he's 50% Chinese and probably has a bit of white in him too.

When Oprah first aired I was very impress by her. I thought she was sincere and legit. As time went on my opinion of her went down the tubes. I'm sure that some of the events she talked about in her life did happen to her, but to have guests come on her show with real, real personal issues and for Oprah to sit there and state over and over, time and time again, she knows how they feel because she had the same things happen to her is just a bunch of malarky. She has the gift of a bull-shit and con artist down to a T. Oprah is, in fact, no better than Jim and Tammy Faye Baker. She has used and suckered in millions of American's to fall for her philandering schemes. And what about her yo-yo weight problem. Everyone I talk to is sick and tired of hearing about it and seeing it plastered across every newsstand. We all have eating problems of one kind or another what makes her any different. What's up with all the facial change pictures of her. It's common knowledge everyone is nothing without makeup and all the photos of celebs are air-brushed. Get real already. Now the big hoopla about Oprah spending millions opening a school in Africa for disadvantage children. Yes this is all well and good and very charitable, but I can name many places right here in the USA where there are children living in out and out poverty everyday. Take care of what's home and give back to the USA what you scammed them out of of. Why doesn't she sell 4 or 5 of those million dollar homes she does not need and give the money to charitable organizations for abused and neglected children in the USA. I would really like to know who died and made Oprah boss. She has suffered from visions of grandeur for too long. She really thinks and believes she is some sort of heir to a throne. Well I haven't bought into her act before and nor will I ever. She is as the Bible states a "False Idol." And what moral parent in the USA can of right mind instruct their children to look to Oprah as a Golden Role Model? Lets face the fact that Oprah is no better than a Pimp when it comes to her relationship with Stedman. Only she doesn't send him out to make the bucks, she buys him like a prostitute and keeps him on a controlled leash like a man-slave. She then torments and manipulates Stedman by toying with his affections when she uses her girlfriend as a go-between of mental/emotional blackmail games. On again/off again over and over, it has gotten disgustly old. Does Oprah Winfrey deserve the income level she receives? Absolutely, positively NOT. I have witnessed people of all walks of life and ages, do more by 9:00 AM then she has done in the last 5 years on the network. Opray is known in my area as a pompous arrogant coniving ass that does nothing more than sit on a couch and tell the people of the USA how we should live our lives when she can't even conduct her own relationships. She is not a scholar, doctor, nurse, politician, etc. Why should anyone in the USA listen to or abide by her bull-shit opinions.
People of the USA it is time all of us stop buying into false idols and bring the whole package of bacon home to where it belongs. If all the people of the USA would for one year not give a single red cent to any self-proclaimed celebrity, I can garauntee these people would be on their knees praying and begging for forgiveness.

Man, some of you people are getting REALLY worked up. I can't stand Oprah's show, and it's my habit to turn off the television or radio if I hear her voice, but it's not because of my overwhelming desire to hate everything she's done and/or is...she just annoys me. Simple Opinion. Why? Because, much like so many of you Oprah haters and lovers posting, all I hear from her is "Whine whine sob, whiny whimper...and on a deeper level, sob". Stop crying. Oprah's no saint, she's just a very bright and charismatic woman who saw the opportunity, took advantage of that opportunity when it presented itself, and achieved the American Dream. Stop with the "because she's a black woman" and stop with the "she's self-centered and phony". If you're astute enough, you'd realize (or have already realized) that she's an ENTERTAINER first. Being phony and self-centered is in the job description. If so many of you "sympathetic, knowledgeable" whiners were put in her position, your ratings would be in the toilet. Also, what the heck is with all of this bible quoting. I'm christian, I don't push it in anyone's face by dragging scriptures into a debate to try to win by religion, and I really don't see any true relevance to pulling christ into this. stop. It's embarrassing to the rest of us, and it's getting as annoying as these people dropping the race card. She may have originally faced opposition because of her skin color, but I'll be damned if she hasn't virtually destroyed that obstacle.

ALso, mobody owes us or anyone else ANYTHING when they make their money legally and by their own doings, so I do think that Oprah, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet etc. deserve the positivity they get for their philanthropic endeavors. PLEASE stop whining about their "true motives". If all of you haters are so certain of her motives, try this: make a billion dollars, then put your money where your mouth is. oh, that's right, you have a better chance of finding out Clinton's gay. Just give her some credit for giving back, and stop sounding like a jealous middle schooler. you people give her almost as much publicity, and in turn money, as her sheep...audience, i meant audience. don't like what you see? turn the tv off. don't like the book she chose? don't read it. don't like her living with a man out of wedlock? get married. don't like her support of homosexuals? don't be gay. lol, cracked myself up on that one. anyways, for all of you people getting angry for all of all of her goody goody work being televised...what is she again? An Entertainer. what better way to do something good, get ratings, AND bring more attention to a good cause? it's a win-win-win situation kiddos. the trifecta. And for the Oprah lovers, enough with the St. Winfrey business. I doubt it is part of God's plan to bless anyone with $1.5 Billion, but hey, that's just me. I could be wrong.

To sum it all up: STOP CRYING.

I am very proud of oprah, she is a good girl. has a good heart, I respect her efferts around the world,IT is VERYGOOD SHE isearnning enough money to do the great things she is doing , and to do more (SHE, YOU) OPRAH should make more money to continue to be helpful, as I know in my heart you OPRAH are a true giver.after all, the seeds of yourself you have planted over the years you have onley begun to harvet the fruits of your efferts. INDEED NOT ONLEY I ,BUT MANEY FOLKS ALL OVER THE PLANT FEEL YOU.
