Bloggingstocks has just received an interesting tip that the Apple iPhone will have a January 15 release date. Apple's Macworld Expo runs from January 9 -12, and the money is on Apple to announce at Macworld that the iPhone exists and will ship at some future date. This tip alleges that iPhone's release date (the shipping and purchasing date) will be just days after Macworld Expo.
This does several things for Apple Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). One, it will beat analyst's expectations of when the iPhone will actually get into customer's hands and create some serious buzz.
Two, it will be rapidly available after one of Apple's biggest announcement events (many new models and products from Apple are touted at MacWorld).
And three? It positions Apple for further interest in its stock, as many investors gauge Apple stock based solely on its iPod offerings.
If this forwarded rumor (and we emphasize that it is a rumor) is true, then the recent drawing back of Apple's stock price into the 80s might represent a buying opportunity for an investor with some room for risk.
If Apple announces a January 15th iPhone, will you be buying one?
Update: The iPhone release date of June 29 has been confirmed as of June 3, 2007.

This would be great but how would they be able to build and supply 12 million phones without back ordering this January? I suspect that they will announce a ship date and not everyone will be able to get one on time.

The 30 in the Macintosh SE30 referred to the specific processer it used (68030). It did not come with a hard drive. It was one of the first computers with an 800k floppy drive. Hard drives were external and hooked up to the computer using SCSI.
And yes, I will be getting an iPhone when they become available.

The Jan 15th date is not a rumor, it has been verified by a very reliable source. This is going to cause a big bank for the stock. If you are looking for a great entry point, now is the time, as the stock is going to retrace its recent highs when the official launch is announced. This one is going to be a blockbuster.

Hey #8.
bovscat analysis based on the last 10 minutes of rumors are about as relevant as an outhouse in a category 4 hurricane. You day traders are just fish food for the real eaters in the tank.
If you want to bet on rumors and unreal things then consider the fact that the Steven-Jobs-hyperdimensional-reality-distortion-field has become so powerful that is becoming reality.

Hi.
I just have a question since you seem to be an expert on apple. For the iphone, do you know if there is an expansion slot so you can add more memory? Please email me back. Thanks.
