Greenpeace is saying that factories that make components for major electronics manufacturers are polluting water supplies in China and other developing countries. While the customers of those factories remain unclear, Greenpeace said that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Motorola Inc. (NYSE:MOT), Sony Corp. (NYSE:SNE) and Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) are possible customers.

Citigroup analyst Tony Wible said the partnership between Tivo Inc. (NASDAQ:TIVO) and Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) to send video purchased on Amazon Unbox to TiVo's set-top boxes is encouraging, and may be a "major game changer" for TiVo.

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) said it will keep selling two magazines about cockfighting, despite renewed threats of a lawsuit from the Humane Society of the United States.

Yesterday, Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) began selling Sony Corp.'s (NYSE:SNE) flat-panel televisions and said it would soon offer products from a variety of companies as it tweaks its consumer business strategy.

The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS) is up nearly 2% in pre-market trading after reporting strong earnings yesterday that topped analyst estimates. Prudential Equity Group analyst Katherine Styponias maintained an "Overweight" rating on the stock and a $38 price target, expecting the company to report increasing operating performance and perform well in fiscal 2007.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) must be happy after Mazda, 33.9% owned by Ford, reported a 46% jump in profit for the latest quarter. Net profit was 14.9 billion yen ($123.3 million) and quarterly sales edged up 4% to 768.2 billion yen ($6.4 billion).

GE Capital, a unit of General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE) might buy a combined 50% stake in Sanyo Electric Credit Co. Ltd. from Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE:GS) and Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. for about 45 billion yen ($372 million).

McDonald's Corp. (NYSE:MCD) reported January same-store sales rose 4.9% in January on growing demand in Europe.

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) unveiled a new version of its mobile Windows operating system, making it look more like Windows Vista, Windows Mobile 6.

Goldman Sachs analyst Anthony Noto expects News Corp.'s (NYSE:NWS) growth to accelerate in the second half of fiscal 2007, driven by several factors, including MySpace with about $325 million in 2007 revenue.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), announced it is shutting one of its plants in Ireland and plans to lay off about 545 employees, nearly a quarter of its work force.

After announcing it would cut trans-fats from products in the U.S., Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ:SBUX) said it will do the same in China within six months.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT) reported January sales at stores open at least a year were up 2.2%, boosted by Sam's Club warehouse division that posted a 3.4% growth in same-store sales while Wal-Mart division sales were up 1.9%. The company says it expects February same-store sales to be up between 1 and 2%.

XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:XMSR) was initiated by Wedbush Morgan with a Hold rating and a target price of $15.
