For years, the Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) properties have hosted weddings, developing a healthy business in putting the fairy tale touches on the magical day. Now, it has partnered with fashion designer Kirstie Kelly to offer a line of wedding gowns patterned after those of their most popular characters.Among the icons featured in this line are Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine from Aladdin and the little mermaid Ariel. Disney plans to offer 34 designs in total for the introductory year. The line will be unveiled during Bridal Week in New York in April.
Disney has already struck gold with its line of character-inspired clothing and accessories for children, now selling close to $3.5 billion a year.
No mention was made of any garb for the groom, however. Why are we denied the chance to be wed wearing Prince Charming's natty sash, or that long, sleek sword of Sleeping Beauty's beau, or anyone's crown, even. Can't we at least get a frickin' crown?

To quote your article, fairy tale touches on a Magical Day. Does that include having Hall Doors that lock on Disneyland Hotel? On Dec 4th Disneyland hotel, gave us a room with Hall Door not locking, and that was on Dec 4th 2006. At 11pm a worker stated the lock couldn't be fixed, until morning when they got a locksmith. Disneyland Hotel has not apologized or compensated us in any way. Is that what Honeymooners get?????
