Does Sanjaya owe his Idol success to Howard Stern?

Since Sanjaya made it into the final 20, XM 29 Ted Kelly was the one who mobilized the hundreds of India call centers listening to him in India on WorldSpace to use their access to hack into U.S. 800 #'s to vote for Sanjaya. The AI voting numbers up on line at the fansite clubupop.com so they have the number and access to call!!!!! He talks to and reads email from the call centers on his show!!

Sanjaya will be the next American Idol. And it will be hilarious l when he is. American Idol is a a joke - over the top criticism for singers, faux fused with the crew, and the guise the whole thing is a talent contest.

Sanjaya winning is the best thing to happen to this show...the end of American Idol. Howard Stern is a genius. And those of use that listen to his show are voting as often and fast as we can. LMAO!

Howard Stern has this contest won for this kid, so why is everyone crying? I know, they don't like the Stern Effect!!!
Women think Howard is sick with his talk show and the way he talks to them.It makes me HARD.

Stopping this merger would cost Stern millions since a sizable amount of his pay package with Sirius is tied up in company stock. SANJAYA IS AN EMBARASSEMENT TO THE AMERICAN IDOL SHOW. I DON'T BLAME SIMON COWELL AT ALL FOR WANTING TO LEAVE IF THAT SUCKY LITTLE TURP WINS. IF IT WAS NOT FOR THAT STUPID HOWARD STERN, HE WOULD BE BACK HOME SITTING AND WATCHING THE TRUE TALENT SING AND WIN. IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!

I will laugh when Sanjaya wins because it will prove that Howard Stern can make followers do anything en masse. Please... help yourself to the Kool-Aid when he offers; there's plenty to go around for all of you!

How sad that once again our "corrupted society" has now attacked and violated a family show that inspires our younger generation to thrive and reach for their singing talents and dreams! It isn't the young voters who are behaving as immature brats, it's the adults...what an example you lead. I do know one thing, if Sanjaya is the next American Idol due to the crap that Howard Stern is pulling, it will drastically destroy the ratings and viewers for next season! Way to go Howard...How does vindictive people sleep at night I will never know! Just remember, what goes around, comes around even for the "high profiled media"!!!

Howard, I will pray for you...that's all anyone should do!

I do not think Howard is getting enough credit for taking over idol voting. My wife and I voted over 70 times a week for the last 3 weeks with glee. If you figure out howard has 6 million listeners and only 10% voted that is 600,000 votes which is a low estimate. With 600,000 votes and multiple calls say 10 that equals 6 million votes plus the people who like sanjaya, it would be close to 9 million votes out of 33 million. He will is receiving about 30% of the voting.

Howard Stern Show is the funniest show in any media. Voting for Sanjaya is a great way to fuck with the so called reality show and it's so called creators. Stern did this very show for many years on his radio show. He also did Just Ask a Five Year Old, another show someone has ripped off from the Stern show and called there own and put it on TV.

I'ma jumping on the Howard Bandwagon just because it'harmless fun. It is the little things in life,huh?

If Fox or American Idol would just open a tolled line to vote against Sanjaya I might spend a paycheck to oust him - then they could use all that dough for their big promotion and help more kids. I bet America would donate if it meant getting Sanjaya off the air!!!

Did you know the American Idol forum boards for Sanjaya are an absolute joke. If you post any sort of criticism of him your posts are removed and your account will be banned.

They have this disclaimer:
When you joined the forum, you agreed to abide by the Fox Terms of Service (there, it says that the moderation staff reserves the right to remove any post or thread (or you) at any time for any reason).


They state that the forums are not fan sites, and that praise and criticism are allowed if constructive.

The truth is, you CANNOT, say anything negative about Sanjaya on their forums because the moderators will remove your post and ban your account. Talk about skewing the perspective of their viewer base.

American Idol is starting to make themselves more of a joke than Sanjaya is. Do you honestly think that a forum with over 70,000 posts in it has less than 1% of criticism towards the least talented singer in American Idol history.
