The bridal season is in full flower, and with it comes the official launch of Disney's new line of bridal gowns inspired by their characters including Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty. As we wrote about back in February, the Walt Disney (NYSE: DIS) line, Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, was created by noted bridal gown designer Kristie Kelly. Thirty-four different designs, priced from $1,100 to $3,500, were unveiled over the weekend during Bridal Week in New York. Bridal gowns seem a logical extension to a couple of lucrative Disney enterprises. Their line of children's clothing based on characters has done extremely well. They also have a thriving Fairy Tale Weddings business offering their parks as locations for destination weddings.
Coming soon is a "Maids" line of bridesmaid's dresses, as well as bridal jewelry. All will be sold through bridal boutiques, rather than directly through the company.

Don't care about Disney Wedding gown, I would think Disney Corp, should worry and spend money making sure their Patrons of Disneyland Hotel had locking hall doors ,to their room, and when not, as in Dec 4th 2006, making sure the patrons are adequately compensated. Disney made us wait until 11pm to even come to the room to check the door, and then it couldn't be fixed. Yuck service, and I'm a stockholder.
