Number one, I don't think Nike cross-trainers are that comfortable - I personally use my Crocs to walk 5-6 miles a day and so does my walking partner - we belong to different political parties by the way. Let's face it...Mr Bush is wearing them because THEY ARE COMFORTABLE PERIOD! I happen to LOVE THEM! I had an accident a couple of years ago and spent an arm and a leg to find shoes that would not hurt my crushed heel and ankle. One day I went to the hospital for a check up and visited the gift shop and low and behold there was the ugliest pair of Crocs I had ever seen. To be hosest, I had never even heard of Crocs. A worker from the hospital asked if they had them in his size and to my surprize , he was genuanly disapointed that they didn't. I picked the ugly things up and tried them on just to see the hype...and to my surprize they were comfortable on the heel and ankle. Needles to say ... this was in April 2007 and I have been wearing them ever since... I have not found anything better to wear anyplace! I'm in heaven! And I can walk without pain. So, don't knock something that works for many of us ... I hate to see a good item and business company go down just because YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE A MOUNTAIN OUT OF A MO HILL WITH NOTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH POLITICS PERIOD! SO, HE HAPPENS TO KNOW HIM, WHAT?!!!, YOU WOULDN'T USE A PRODUCT THAT MAKES YOU COMFORTABLE THAT IS MADE BY YOUR FRIEND?
