Companies like Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD) and PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP) are scrambling to find new niches for product offerings. Sometimes, though, I think they step over the line -- sometimes, way over the line. Beer and milk? Cucumber soda? Here are a few beverages to ponder on a hot summer afternoon.

The canned drinks I collected in Japan were
1) Pocari Sweat (how many Pocari's in a can?)
2) A drink called Mucos (it looked like it too)
3)"Jive coffee" made with "old beans"
4) and "My Morning Water"

There is an old drink especially good for Summer weather. It's called shanty-gaff (spelling?) and is half beer and half gingerale. Nice and light for a hot evening..

These drinks do sound kind of disgusting. But you never know until you actual try to choke something down if it's going to nauseating, or not half bad!
(What do you say to orange juice... with fish oil? It's from Tropicana and it sounds pretty nasty. Although it probably beats beer & milk. (http://crankyfitness.blogspot.com/2007/04/yecchh.html )

My aunt would love the bud & clamato drink, she mixes her own. And I gag over it every time. Ick!
