The old style was more legible. The black on white reduces the complexity, but the brightness of plain white makes it much harder to read. Especially because anti-aliasing is turned off on my computer. Maybe if you could replace at least the sidebars's background with a different shade?

I really like the new design. Your word "clean" describes it perfectly. The old look was so heavy and blocky. This is much more refined and aesthetically pleasing. However, I do wish you would insert that little bit of code, "a target="_blank" into the stock symbol links, as I don't like to navagate to an entirely new page when I simply want to check the current price of a stock that is being discussed. Nice job!

It's not bad, better colors.... Does the header really have to take up half the page though? And do you have to put that many references to AOL in there? Engadget isn't that much of a AOL whore. AOL kinda sucks. are they going to delete this now?
