You guys that are hating on Barry are just plain old fools and know nothing about baseball. Check all his other stats besides homeruns. Nothing short than incredible...did steroids do that, i don't think so. Amazing vision, incredible eye to hand coordination, patience and above, a person that takes no crap from the media and that's why you guys are hating. Maybe if he were to kiss some of these guys asses and maybe yours too, I guess they would love him more. Face the facts, Barry is black and most of America will never come to love him the way they did Hank Aaron and now that Barry has broke his record everybody loves Hank...what a bunch of hypocrites!!!

Lets face the facts...Barry might have used the clear potion for 2 years or so and this is something nobody on this planet will ever know. America loves putting innocent people behind bars despite having the actual facts. Now lets say he did use it, it would only help him hit the ball further than he use to hit them and as a ballplayer that I am it would not help you make contact with the ball so what is the real problem here? Barry's been killing the ball since his Pittsburgh Pirates days. Lets add the Golden Gloves and the Base on Balls...did steroids help him gain those achievments? I guess not. You people need to go hate on some white boy like McGwire that ran and retired when he made himself guilty by snitching on himself with the Androsteindione. Now we have Canseco saying that he has something on A-Rod and everybody is believing him. America is so ignorant. This guy as never ever had a relationship with A-Rod so how does he have you people believing everything he says? I can sell you people anything and become rich.

I agree! The blame is on MLB. There should be testing at least twice a year. If you don't have anything to hide you shouldn't mind. The ice cream, apple pie and baseball will not be the same if BB receives and keeps the title. Do the testing MLB and keep our favorite sport clean!

This is like saying that you can give counseling to a cocaine or herion addict when you never been down that road and you don't really know what effect these drugs have on your body only by what you have read. Give the man credit for all that. I am so sick of everyone in the US turning every issue into a race issue. This has nothing to do with race. The man juiced, which is cheating, which helped him to break a record that we all hold dear. It has nothing to do with the fact that he is Black....Hank Aaron was Black for Christ's Sake. I am so sick of people trying to turn every discussion into something about race. For the love of God get over it already. Barry Bonds Cheated, Barry Bonds broke a well-loved record, and now Barry Bonds is under scrutiny. What does that have to do with his race? The real racism is that no one can ever question a Black man in this country without being called a racist. OJ was a murderer, and liberal guilt let him go. Imagine that???? He KILLED TWO PEOPLE, but was set free because the country was afraid to be called racist.

A little note to those baseball " purists that feel Bonds record deserves an asterisk . Read a book or two , something that has to do with the honest history of baseball and the charecter of the players involved . Ty Cobb was probably certifiably nuts , he was an admitted racist , he was on the run(OPEN WARRENT ON HIM)for over a yr for severly beating a black elevator operator , he was a well known gambler(and more than once investigated for betting on baseball), he was also known to have used cocaine(it was legal then , I guess that makes it OK).My point is baseball needs to add an awful lot of asterisks if you start to really examine those that cheated , like Gaylord Perry and the Niekro's(spit an scuff pitchers).The players that drank wiskey during proabition, the guys popping greenies(anphetimines) in the minors , and yes in the "good ole day's" when everything was "pure", an they traveled by bus and train.Wake up , realize these guys are human , baseball has always been a game players and coaches are looking for an edge. Congrats to B.B. that record is quite an accomplishment. Something to be proud of! I have never been a big B.B. fan but I thank him for all the years of pure baseball enjoyment from his true talents. Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth we're two of the dirtiest men to ever play the game of baseball and they are worshiped as great players. That being the case, people like Bonds who have the money to pay for it will use it. Pretty soon, we will not know who is using and who is not. I don't know where this will take us, but no matter what, it's not a good place.

Now lets try this again. Barry bonds records will stand and it should stand. I play softball being playing since i was a child. If you can't hit the ball and don't know how to hit the ball you can't hit home runs. I am currently having a brathing problem and all the doctors can afford me is steriod treatment. I keep saying no steriod and all I get is steriod. Steriods being around so long that its no telling who has been using steriod. You k\don't have to use steriod to be powerful People wake up it is a race thing. It will always be a race thing. You people need to wake up.
