Flash: Asian market suffer big losses, Korea down 4.2%

Markets in Asia dropped sharply following the fall-off here.

The Japan Nikkei was off 2.4% to 16,764. Sony (SNE) fell 3.7% to 6780.

The Hong Kong Hang Seng fell 2.9% to 21,792. China Mobile (CHL) fell 3.9% to 84.65.
