Britney should go from brain-dead pop fool, to being a pole dancer at some loser club in Vegas. It's all over, but she could attempt to dance and lip-sync for drinks.

I love how MTV panned on all the people in the crowd like Rihanna, 50, and Diddy because their faces of horror were HILARIOUS. I think Britney would have gotten better press if she just decided not to show up. I think a monkey could have lip synced better than she did. This will be the end of her musical career, but not her tabloid career. Personally, her voice is not even good to begin with, it sounds like a midget who just sucked helium at a "happy 5th birthday" party.

Ok, I dont think she deserve all the bad press she is getting, it wasn't the best show, but it wasn't an ashley simpsons mess up if you ask me. I think she looked great. Anyone who is laughing at or rooting for the downfall of Britney should be ashamed of themselves. To wish bad things for someone, anyone and to make such a big issue of her weight, her parenting skills is awful. Of course its obvious she hasnt had a good couple years career wise and her performance at the VMAs could have no doubt been better - but no one is perfect. Who cares about her personal life, that's her business. Leave her alone and start looking at your own lives people. Keep tryin Brit! I'm behind you 100%.

Listen...honestly..She does look pretty good for having some kids...set aside the drug induced weight loss, and the lipo. Her choice of clothing was very BAD!...If she had covered up a bit more..and revealed just a a little..she would have gotten better reviews. Her dance was very weak..showing her * unfit body. Her dancers in the background got more publicity than she did this night I am afraid! The girl is pretty..but I agree with the comment above..the only thing she is really good for now is pole dancing..and thats only if its real dark.

Personally I really don't like Britney, I prefer 100% christina aguilera but I couldn't believe that was Britney, the woman is more then lost. I felt sorry about her, I couldn't be happy for her mistakes, I mean we all make them. She wasn't a great singer, she was more like an entertainer, she danced pretty good, I could see her performances, because they were good, but it was so painful to see her on Sunday. But who knows what the future will bring for her, I mean I remember Mariah Carey had a breakdown too, and she cameback in big, nevertheless, Mariah has a wonderful voice, she is pure talent, songwriter, producer, director, mmm, it's difficult to compare Mariah to Britney, Mariah is in another level, anyway, my point is maybe she can comeback again. Who knows, but for now she should take care of her kids and clear her mind, leave the showbusiness for a while, for her own good

it's weird that everyone is making such a dramma over a performance. Britney looked rather pretty actually. some people just judge people without knowing them. someone is having a drink, next morning your picture is on the internet and what do people say?? alcohol abuser!! needs rehab!! people should not always believe what they read or see. after all even if you think Britney's career is over, maybe yours practically is too...

Alright. I agree that Britney did bomb. She completly bombed, and her choice of clothing was a horrible. She could hardly stand up let alone dance with her back up dancers. She looked wobbly and drugged up. However it bothers me that the issue of her weight was thoroughly discussed. Not only was it discussed here but through out the nation. It is horrible that it has come to our society only accepting the extremly thin and modelistic women. Although I agree that Britney needed a different wardrobe, I was so happy to see that she was heavier than she was before. She looked healthy and I loved her slight belly jiggle. Call me crazy, call me what ever you like, but it's time that we stop making the girls and women who are bigger than a size zero and weigh more than a sack of bones, feel like they are sub human or not good enough. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and no one should be shunned because they weigh more than a stick thin super model. What happened to liking a little meat on a woman's bones? It is ridiculous that people are commenting on how "fat" Britney got. Well DUH! She had what, two children? Of course she's going to be different. I loved how she went out there (and although she was considerably drugged) she worked it and flaunted her curves, her belly and her bigger breasts. It's sad that now days women who are average and are healthy are now being called fat and obese. I think although Britney with out a doubt did stink up the VMA's, she was very couragous for showing the world her "lady lumps" . Whether she ment to or not, hopefully she showed women and girls that you can have a shape and a figure and still be beautiful.

We all know the bitch ain't really a good singer.. but all I gotta say is she should of had wore an different outfit.. I think she would of got half of the criticism.. but no, her ass had to let it out like it looks sexy.. it doesnt. No offense to anybody with children, but you can be sexy within ladies, but doesn't make you sexy on the outside.. Britney should of covered up and it would of been okay.
