I wish as a customer and depositor of WAMU, there was something I can do to help their management think of operative strategies to stay afloat.
However, unfortunately even as a very tiny non-sense depositor they have victimized me over their excessive overdraft fees. So even if they think I am not somebody because I don't have money, I might have the strategy to show them a way out.
First and foremost as an understatement, they have to create value to their existing customer depositors right now regardless if they have a penny in their account. Customer loyalty is very much imperative right now as if they continously lose these confidence weekly in great amounts, a foreseen bankroll is inevitable.
Then, second is even though I salute them on their middle managements empowerment and diversity, running a business is no longer a hit and miss. It has to be a long futuristic strategy to correct whatever in order to gain confidence.
After, "MUTUAL" is all about relationships.

The lastest news on the WAMU volatility is scary.
I am also a small time depositor, and have been am seriously thinking of moving out of WAMU to a different bank.
Banking with WAMU is changing fast. A good friend of mine used to work for them, they fired all the IT guys ( west coast) and outsourced that department outside of the US. Most of the time you are talking with someone in India or someone who cant speak English very well?? or get just an automated response to any email inquiries.
