Models are a dime a dozen and supermodels are becoming a thing of the past. If Giselle believes she is too good for USD, then I suggest agencies replace her with others who are not.

Ironic, isn't it, that the persons spewing hateful comments here probably self-identify as Republican, when the dollar's weakness is attributable to W's fiscal policies. We had a surplus at the end of the Clinton years, and sound fiscal policy - the dollar was stronger than all but the British pound - but W has screwed that up, too. Of course, in response, no doubt some one will say something hateful about my comments, rather than substantive - because Republicans don't seem to like debating about facts these days.

I really see no problem. If she's working for a company in the USA she gets paid in American dollars. She doesn't want them, she can work elsewhere. It's not like there's a shortage of models out there.

She's right!!! Even the Canadian Dollars is getting stronger aginst the U.S. Dollar since it almost 1 to 1 right now... And when the Euro opened around 2000 it was trading around 65 cent to the Euro... Now it totally oppsite... So from a capitalist standpoint she is right on... Because the dollar is on the decline no one know when it going to be as strong as before...when we had oil,no f#@$ ith war,those good replublicans wasnt breaking america ,blah blah blah and now they will leave the mess for the next ones (wake up america,before is to late ex america will lose 12000.000$ per day when they send all immigrantes back to home its logic,more bilions up to start new ethanol or however gas we can get for the big suv and trucks,another tri$ in a WAR ...keep going its time to change vote in 2008 please
