Censoring Santa in Sydney: No to Ho, Ho, Ho

So this is pretty stupid: Santas in Sydney are being urged to say "Ha, Ha, Ha," instead of "Ho, Ho, Ho."

According to FOX News, "Recruitment firm Westaff (NASDAQ: WSTF) -- which supplies hundreds of Santas across the country -- has told its trainees that the "Ho Ho Ho" phrase could frighten children and could even be derogatory to women."

"Ho, Ho, Ho" is offensive? I could understand if Santas were walking around calling people nappy-headed 'hos, but the reality is that "ho, ho, ho" has been around a lot longer than the other connotation made popular in song lyrics.

Is there anyone reading this who doesn't think this is completely nuts (sorry, "insane")? If so, leave a comment and explain, because I don't get it.

This is so stupid! I am so tired of people whining and complaining about things this silly! Santa should continue just as always - it hasn't hurt anyone yet! If someone wants to complain about Christmas - let's have them speak out about something meaningful such as - losing the meaning of the holiday; materialism instead of caring; commercialization of the holiday - things that should have attention, not that "ho ho ho" may all of a sudden be offensive to a few hyper-sensitive people who need to just relax and quit trying to some up with meaningless reasons to bitch.

ok, lets not say white christmas either because it could be taken as a drug reference, or get rid of santas red nose because it might imply hes a drunk, dont forget to get rid of the grinch because he promotes looting, and get rid of its a wondeful life because it could cause people to commit suicide, you know what, forget it, if we have the holiday someone might be offended, lets cancel it.
