On December 5, I drew our readers' attention to a YouTube video that features congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul chewing out Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke during his testimony before Congress.
I was surprised by the amount of traffic it received and the passion that it inspired on the part of our readers -- 21 of you saw fit to leave comments.
Now the USA Today is taking a look at the Ron Paul videos: "Video clips of Paul -- who supports the gold standard and has sponsored a bill to abolish the Fed -- ripping into Bernanke at congressional hearings are getting hundreds of thousands of hits on the video-sharing website YouTube."
While the videos are not getting the views that polished campaign videos from top-tier candidates like Barack Obama, they're getting a ton of hits for clips of a second-tier candidate arguing with the Chairman of the Federal Reserve.

Ron Paul is the hot knife cutting through the warm base of both the Democratic and the Republican party. He is also getting a good chunk of independent voters as well.
For the Democratic and Republican candidates to ignore Paul's popular appeal his cogent themes, especially now that Chairman Bernanke and the College of Clowns on the FOMC who decide fed interest rates ,and are leading this nation into the next great depression, is to ignore Congressman Paul at their peril.
Congressman Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd, who head the House and Senate banking committees respectively, were asleep at the switch while these montrous subprime frauds were taking place. They looked the other way as did Allan Greenspan while powerful bankers misdirected billions, invested it like a bunch of sheep in questionable illiquid financial instruments, and now expect the rest of the American people to pay for their perfidy and stupidity. Down with them and let's rally around Congressman Paul's candidacy for the presidency.

unless Huckabee, Richardson or Ron Paul are on the ticket I either don't vote or for the Republican ticket. Ron Paul seems to realize that the dangerous alien Insurgeny in place here flying an Alien flag, of a different culture is armed and presently terrorizing our inner cities and in the narco industry. These hundreds and thousands of quazi military armed gang members are a real danger. Who is dealing with it, other than Ron Paul
who, at least, talks about it?

From what I've seen on youtube, Ron Paul videos are getting comparable hits to all the other "top tier candidates"...Obama has a few videos (Obama girl) which lead over Ron Paul's but after that...the video views are very comparable. Besides, if you do a youtube "search" for each of the candidates...you will receive appx. the following hits...
John McCain.....2,920
Mike Huckabee...2,240
Mitt Romey...4,500
Rudi Giuliani...53 ???
John Edwards...5,470
Barack Obama...11,900
Hillary Clinton...19,800
Ron Paul...66,500...what? 66,500!
I wouldn't call that 2nd tier...at least not on youtube.

I think he'd make a great vice-president. He doesn't have the popularity to be president. I'm sorry but the American people do not want someone who is honest and really interested in looking out for their best interest. Don't believe me? Just look who are the most popular on both sides...On the right we have one man who can't even be faithful to himself and his religion. But wants me to believe he'll be faithful to this country. Another who lies. On the left we have a theif, and a man who doesn't even know the pledge. Claims to be a Christian, but refuses to put his hand on a bible. I rest my case.

I respect Ron Paul. He comes across as an humanitarian and caring individual. I believe this is his appeal to the voters because he is speaking their language. Inspite of all this, I do not think these traits fit in with the office of president. We need a president who goes for the jugular during these uncertain times.
