Here's a happy little video message for the leadership at the now defunct Bear Stearns. I thought of this as soon as I read the recent blog post by Michael Rainey regarding the Bear Stearns blame shifting game that's now going on. C'mon you guys, sit up and take your medicine like good kids do. You screwed up. Just admit it will ya?

I do not think screwed up exactly describes the situation Gary. We are talking about management that bet one of the biggest names on Wall St. -- bet the farm -- on a roll of the dice.
They tanked 100 year old business!
This was f%@$#k stupidity of the highest order inflamed by greed and egos!
Screwed up is when you punch in the wrong ticker symbol and buy the wrong stock -- this is many orders of magnatude more....but I know you share my sentiments.......just thought worthy of more emphasis.

Several members of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc leadership team sold off large amounts of their shares to the tune of “more than $20 million in December,” according to MarketWatch.com. This report is bound to raise questions of whether their selling of the company’s shares during a time when the firm was enduring financial stress was ethical. In addition, investors could raise concerns about their service on other corporate boards. The question of whether their service on other boards will come in for more scrutiny remains a question to be answered in the coming days.

The president of Bear Stearn's was in a financel magazine and stated in 07 that the company is in fine shape.
What should be done with a liar like this? Prison that's what. Stock dropped from 160 to 2 dollar a share and he got 20 million Christmas Bonus.
