Early analyst calls (MOT) (MER) (JNPR)

Oppenheimer cut earnings estimates for both Merrill Lynch (NYSE:MER) and UBS (NYSE:UBS) saying both companies would lose money in Q1, according to Briefing.com. The news service also reports that Bank of America cut Motorola (NYSE:MOT) from "buy" to "neutral."

3Com (NASDAQ:COMS) was raised To "outperform" from "market perform" at Bernstein according to 24/7 Wall St. The financial website also reports that Juniper Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR) was cut To "neutral" from buy" at Goldman Sachs.
