Option Update: Yahoo option prices suggests uncertainty on expected MSFT action

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) is recently trading up 66 cents to $27.47 in pre-open trading.


The Wall Street Journal reported Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) is mulling a hostile YHOO bid. YHOO May option implied volatility of 80 is above its 26-week average of 42 according to Track Data, indicating larger uncertainty.
