Option Update: Freddie Mac August volatility of 170 at record high

Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) down $1.37 to $13.10.

FRE is expected report Q2 EPS in late August.

FRE call option volume of 13,022 contracts compares to put volume of 33,075 contracts. FRE July option implied volatility is at 155, August is at 170; above its 26-month average of 75 according to Track Data, suggesting larger price movement.
