Analyst initiations: GOOG, CVS and FSLR


MOST NOTEWORTHY: Google, CVS Caremark and First Solar were today's noteworthy initiations:
  • Deutsche Bank assumed Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) with a Buy rating and $635 target. The firm thinks the company's profit dollar growth should remain robust and finds the valuation attractive at current levels.
  • Jefferies believes CVS Caremark's (NYSE: CVS) competitive position and EPS upside opportunity should lead to significant equity appreciation. Shares were initiated with a Buy rating and $50 target.
  • Caris started First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) with a Buy rating and $350 target and points to the company's revenue growth from the expansion of thin film solar technology and technology leadership.
