Just a hint... Look at Marshall & Isley (MI). They sold Metavante, because they saw this coming. They were pro-active, where as IndyMac is being forced to be reactive... Bottom line is, they intend to pay their dividend and their share price is more a reflection of the sector, than their condition. Talk to someone who's closely involved with the regional banks, consult other sources of info and as always, "read the prospectus," if you have lots of free time on your hands.
