Nancy Pelosi's book lands with a thud

I doubt that she wrote it herself, so she should soon be able to blame someone else for the failure. I do have to admit, I've laughed out loud at both the author and the publisher.....mostly at the publisher who is going to be stuck for good cash, probably.

Pelosi is just another extreme liberal snit. Her book didn't sell because nobody cares what this little nitwit has to say. She and the other democrats have shown just how inept they are, so no one wants to spend a nickel on her B.S.

why would anyone want to read a book about a san francisco liberal democrat, who went on a book tour while gas prices are sky high, and who has consistantly tried to block everything the president has tried to do on terrorism, the border and anything that involved common sense.

She should have titled her book "Stupid to the core and proud of it, a true lieberal".

Glad her book flopped. Who would want to read anything she has to say anyway. Certainly hasn't done anything noteworthy to write about.

We call men "empty suits" that dont have much upstairs. Nancy Pukelosi is an "empty dress." Have you heard the reason she is against drilling for oil? She has gone into business with T. Boone Pickens. She's more interested in making money than doing what the American people want: DRILL NOW!!

Could it be that her book isn't selling because:
A - She's as dumb as a bag of rocks?
B - She has nothing to say and can't say it in an interesting manner?
C - All of he above?

My faith in mankind is restored. I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy her book. I don't know how she got where she is, but I can only hope that it is a short lived power trip.

Maybe we didn't buy it because we simply can't afford it... Perhaps we had to use that 20 or so dollars to put in our gas tanks, so that other politicians (who have LOTS invested in oil) are able to keep feathering their nests while those of us in the working class are being stripped bare. I can no longer go out & buy books when I want to because we are being financially raped & our needs still greatly outweigh our wants. I miss shelling out for books at B&N. I have to think of what would be better, a book or groceries. It's a sad fact that we make over $100K per year, but are not able to live frivolously. So much for a prosperous USA & I shudder to think of having McCain stripping us bare for "four more years." Sadly, as long as most people are going to vote along the invisbible lines of race & gender, we'll suffer under "McCain's house of pain." Somebody needs to shake Cindy's head vigorously. Maybe then she'll wake up & realize that she's married to an overinflated moron.

Let's see, it has sold 2,737 copies. I wonder how many of those were purchased with her tax-payer office supplies budget?

An honest politician, give me a break. Especially at the pump. While Russia and China are drilling all over the planet she is enjoying America not being self sufficient, paying the Middle East our wealth and our economy suffering. Why, she invested 200k with T.Boone in wind and solar.
In case she hadn't noticed if Russia and Iran told Hugo to shut off our oil as they could do, what then? $10-12 a gallon if we can get it?

The tree huggers will be screaming --- how many trees did this book kill? Can they reprint the pages of this one into something worth reading? Did she use a U. S. printer? Just perfect, a Liberal book, with no liberal readers--must not have any color pictures!!

After reading only a portion of the comments on this article, there is absolutely NO question as to why Hillary Clinton didn't make it as the Democratic nominee for president: most people, in either party, don't like ~ can't stand ~ are threatened by ~ ANY WOMEN in power! I feel sorry for all you nay-sayers. Nancy certainly isn't my favorite person, but she also appears to have little scandal in her life, which is QUITE refreshing, and I think she is probably doing the best job she can given the MESS the current administration has handed her and the House to deal with! I'm not sure anyone ~ Democrat or Republican ~ will be able to 'fix' what the Bush Administration has utterly destroyed these past 8 years! Talk about WORTHLESS!! You folks all want another 8 years of George Bush-esque government, vote for McCain. You want four years of someone not knowing where in the hell to start with the mess they will find once in office, vote Obama! As a Hillary supporter I dont' intend to vote for either one! Is this really a surprise? Liberal's and their political philosophies are huge catastrophic failures. Liberals have done more to destroy our country than any other factor - astronomically more than "global warming". They destroy the fabric of our country and by their behaviors invite other societies, countries and religions to hate us, to attack us and to attempt to destroy us.
