Equities managed a comeback after yesterday's huge sell-off. Today was on little economic data, but "less bad" data from companies helped as well as overseas markets stabilizing before U.S. traders woke up this morning. We also did not see the continued flight to quality as sharply today in what looks like a Treasury Bubble right now.Here are today's unofficial closing bell levels:

Top Analyst Calls
Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE: GS) is under pressure on a Wall Street Journal report that the company could lose $2 billion or $5.00 EPS for the quarter in its first loss since coming public. The loss is not going to be a surprise as many have already reported and speculated this, but the magnitude of the losses may catch some off guard.
Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) engineers and technical worker union members voted to approve new four-year contracts, which will avert another work stoppage at the company's Commercial Airplanes unit.
Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) CEO Alan Mulally submitted a plan to Congress indicating that he is accelerating Ford's development of hybrid and electric vehicles and that he is willing to cut his salary to $1 a year if Ford uses any federal government funds. He also said the company does need the bailout capital today.
General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) had a major gain today. At its GE Capital update it put guidance at the lower-end of guidance rather than lowering guidance, it recommitted to that $1.24 dividend in 2009 and recommitted to its Triple-A ratings.
Dow Chemical Co. (NYSE: DOW) is trading higher after its unit delivery with the Kuwait venture was renegotiated. While this is a lower dollar amount, it is still a win considering the drop in the stock.
