Donald Trump sues town for $100 million

Trump will do anything to get his name in papers. Most know he is just a posturing fool with a ridiculous hairdo - he is a joke

he's also running out of money... that's why he's suing... he's done...

Hopefully the City has countersued for an equal amount; and that Donald will lose.

If Trump can't con people into investing into his "projects" or gambling in his casinos, then it looks like he will just sue them to get their money. "Suing an entire town" for this amount of money over these matters is ridiculaous . . . the sheer arrogance of it all.

Hopefully the City will get a big jusdgement against him.

Maybe more people should start sueing towns and cities, there all getting out of control. Whe did people start loosing there rights as property owners. There are so many power hungry building official out there. They look for any reason to bust people backs. if what you are doing doesn't affect your neighbors lifes or property value. I say it my property I'll do what I want. This is America not Russia.

I disagree, having known Mr. Trump from living in Florida. We are talking about a row of 12 ficus trees here , not him putting people out on the streets. Trees add to the environment and to the decor of the community. It's just an attempt to wake up the people blocking his planting 12 trees, not to really get money. Just like flying his flag in Palm Beach. They deemed it "too big" but he was just showing his patriotism.

When Mr. Trump was a youngster, at his Dad's work site in Brooklyn, NY...My father worked for the senior Mr. Trump...My Dad ran the backhoes for the job... Donald was on the site... my dad got off the machine for a second to check something and the young Donald climbed on the machine...my dad told him to get off the running machine...he didn't listen so my dad took him off the machine smacked him on his butt and told him to go get his father...which apparently he did and the father was apoligetic to myb dad for Donald not listening. You do have to give Mr. Donald Trump some credit...you do not read about his children being scandilous, showing thier parts in and out of limos, drinking brawls, drug problems...so he must be doing some part of his life correctly.....

Laura #12, the Bible says that Jesus will come like a thief in the night. NO ONE will know the time, the hour or the date. The world has certainly seen more corruption, especially in the times that Christians were persecuted and thrown to be eaten by lions for the enjoyment of others. Enjoy your nice warm home and freedom religion. We are hardly persecuted in this country and greatly blessed. Whether we have as much money as Donald Trump or not.

Bottom line: This is not a place where you can buy land and just do whatever you want with it. Trump knew or should have known this when he bought into the area. Land use ritzy-titsy places like this is highly regulated, and the regulations have to be followed...by everyone.

On the other hand, the other Bottom Line is that might often really does make right. When this is all over, the rich folks of "Rancho Palos Verdes" may very well find they have been "outsnooted" by a snootier snooter!
