With Stanford Financial in limbo as regulators pounce and assets are frozen, at least two Major League Baseball stars are facing some serious financial problems.FoxSports' Ken Rosenthal reports that Yankees center fielder Johnny Damon doesn't have enough money to pay his trainer and Mets star Xavier Nady hasn't been able to purchase an apartment in New York. Apparently their money is tied up in the Stanford mess, and they don't have access to it -- at least for now.
Super-agent Scott Boras told Rosenthal that the assets are insured and that his clients are in no danger. He says the matter will be resolved in a few days, but Damon says he's not sure whether he'll be able to pay his mortgage this month.
According to Baseball-Reference, the 35-year old Damon has earned more than $84 million during his career. The 29-year old Nady has earned $7.165 million.

Damon is not going to be able to pay his mortgage. Is he such a neanderthal that they keep his $86 million locked up in Stanford?
Maybe he can get a loan from A-Rod!
