Let's say you're on the phone with a potential customer. She likes the product and wants to make a purchase. However, you need to fax over an agreement to get a signature. Also, you need to set up a method for payment.
Unfortunately, this takes a few days – and during this time, the lead goes dark. You lost a customer . . .
In today's tough economic times, it's absolutely critical to close customers quickly. But how?
Well, there are some helpful – and affordable technologies to help out.
Just take a look at EchoSign. Essentially, the company leverages esignitures to allow for online contracts.
Huh?
OK, let's continue with our example above. Instead of faxing a document, you will get the person's email and send an electronic contract. She can review it and sign her name (which is legally enforceable). In fact, it's not uncommon to close customers in just a few minutes using EchoSign.
What's more, EchoSign tracks customer contracts and monitors performance (yes, it also shows the average time it takes to close contracts). In other words, there is a legal audit trail as well as improved accounting. And, if you want, EchoSign can be integrated with popular systems, such as Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), NetSuite (NYSE: N) and so on.
All in all, EchoSign is an easy and powerful tool. And, it's cost-effective. In fact, a limited version is free. But, if you want more functionality, the pricing starts at a $14.95 per month.

Making the sale is the purpose. I recently went into a satelite location of El Cajon Ford, in El Cajon CA and within 10 minutes told the salesman that I would buy a particular auto they had on their lot. After 1 hour the salesman told me I had to go 7 miles to their main location since they had no finance facilities at the off location site. My wife and I, both disabled, went to the main location. 45 minutes later someone came to us and said that we must walk to another location 100 yard away to sign papers (this was an all cash sale). I ask them to bring me the papers since I was on a walker. "Impossible", they said, "walk". I said some words that can not be sited here. Their sales manager, dressed in a clown suit, came from his office and said "I do not wish to sell you a car". Surprise, after this who would want to buy a car from this kind of dealership.

I was looking at a car and after my ground work decided for one present at a dealers lot in west covina, CA.I walked with a Cash payment of 15671.00 to buy the car after 11 minutes of wait a sales man with a tooth pick in mouth came out and looked at me as if he is going to do me a favour. I was dressed in a T shirt and a Jeans he quickly decided that I am not a buyer with a lot of arrogance in his style he worked very hard NOT to sell me the car. He won I decided to walk out with my money. Thank you Car salesman.
