Is Tim Geithner really one of the 50 Most Beautiful People?

People revealed earlier this week that Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner made its closely-watched list of the 50 Most Beautiful People.

Beautiful? Really? 50 Most Beautiful Treasury Secretaries perhaps -- but only because Hank Paulson looks like a rodent and Robert Rubin looks like the dad in that Twister Sister music video. Business Insider found time to do some digging and uncover the makings of a scandal. Joe Weisenthal reports:

Geithner's brother David Geithner is a People executive, having been at Time Warner (TWX) since 1992. This 1992 wedding announcement confirms they have the same father. And they look similar! Now, of course we're not saying David put bro Tim on the list. But might David's underlings have added him, you know, as a joke or favor to the boss?

Fortunately, there are much bigger scandals to worry about with Geitner and his ilk -- like the fact that AIG (NYSE: AIG)took its bailout cash and paid bonuses, or the fact that that AIG took its bailout cash and made needy counterparties like Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) whole on various derivative trades.

If only those attrocities were a joke ... But given that Paulson is a former Goldman CEO, they certainly qualify as a favor to the boss.

tim is a crook just like the rest in dc...but what we are trying to do on email is to get everyone TO CASH IN ALL OF THEIR BANKING ACCOUNTS until Obama stops to jam the energy, eduction, health reform bills down our throats.

if old tim knows anything,,,he should be aware we are broke and cannot afford them at this time.

Americans want to know why obama acts like a spoiled child demanding what he wants when he wants it even though it is bad for our country!
