It turns out he's still wearing it, and the New York Post explains why:
Nope, the word is that Singh is just stubborn and -- here's a word you don't hear often these days -- loyal. And, oddly enough, I find that sort of refreshing even if the allegiance is to an alleged thief.
Singh's representatives say "Vijay is staying with the status quo until there is something more definitive re: Stanford." Hats off to him.
But here's the other thing: Vijay has a contract that he has a responsibility to fulfill and, weirdness aside, there's really no harm in wearing the Stanford cap. Anyone who sees his cap and decides they want to buy some of Stanford's high-yield CDs can log-on to the Stanford Financial website -- and be informed that the firm has been shut down and thrown into receivership.
So as long as he's already been paid, why run the risk of violating the contract and being forced to send back the money? It's not like taking off the hat would help anyone; it only makes things more complicated.

First of all - Vijay (not VJ) is an outstanding gentleman and a terrific human being. He gives to a lot of charities and is very dedicated to St Judes.
The reason he wears the Stanford hat is very simple - he is still under contract.
How about asking why the media doesn't run these "stories" in a timely manner instead of just holding on to them so they can make the most of an opportunity to embarrass someone ?

Breaking in a new hat would of screwed up his game... The guy just doesn't have any decent sponsors. Anyone want to give this guy a $5 visor?? Or a patch to cover up the logo?

Good Lord are people really upset about a hat? I have a collection of ballcaps and other hats, some have colleges on them or pro sports teams, some are of buisnesses and other groups. I will grab one on the way out to play a round of golf or just go to the store and as long as it matches my clothes enough for my girlfriend not to crucify me on the way out the door I could care less what it says on it lol. If a company forced tens of thousands of people out of thier homes and on the streets and I had a hat of thiers and it looked good on me then screw it why not wear it? Does the company make money for every person walking along who reads my hat? Does my hat make these same families homeless or poor? No it is a freakin hat. If a nascar driver wears a goodyear hat and you get a flat does he owe you money and represent all the things wrong with your tires? freakin grow up and get over yourselves. If this bothers you that bad it must be because you lost money to stanford.

Well,
1. If I was him and having several Million already or Ie: He is a Rich man?
2. Knowing thousands of People have had their $ stolen and some of that $ went into my pocket for wearing a Hat?
3. I'd Return the hat and What ever is left of the $, but to the People who had theirs stolen by stanford..
That would be the Right and Moral Thing to do..
At the Least? Doante it the $ to a Fund to repay those who lost $ in Standford..
my Inegrety and Reputation are more important to me and my family.. and bet he woul get better Sponsors in the future as well..
Think about it Mr. Singh
