Wal-Mart's new Supermercado concept could be huge

I just called Wal-Mart main office and complained. NOT that it will do any good, but I am sick and tired of this.

tsrod you gotta fight fire with fire. And it doesn't matter what race is more dominant in a specific area. If it was chinese then it would be a chinese supermarket if it was french then I'd be a french supermarket. Wal Mart doesn't care about race all they care about is $$$ I should know I was a Wal Mart employee for 2yrs and my status was part-time working 35 hrs a week just so they didn't have to categorize me as full time and pay for my health insurance and I am an American born and raised so it doesn't matter to Wal Mart what race you are. And as for coming to America and assimilating thats BULL I just took a trip to DC and NY and not a single Chinese, Arab, Italian,Russian etc spoke a lick of English!!! All the damn taxi drivers were impossible to understand!!! Mexicans get singled out because we are the majority. Yes we should learn Ingrish but so should all other races

It's not like we didn't already know that all Walmart is out for....is Walmart. They have and always will, just care about the greenback, the good ole cashola. I'm not shocked and none of you people voicing how wrong this is of Walmart to do should be either. Their "greedy take over everything way" is no damn secret.

This new store, I assume it will only accept Pecos and food stamps. Have no security cameras so everybody can steal whatever they need. And no trash can cause they don't use them anyway.

Maybe if all English speaking Non Hispanics stop using Walmart, they might go out of business. Send an email to everyone on your address book and ask them to do the same....The message will soon cover coast to coast.

My area Wal-Mart is already Hispanic. Trash in the parking lot,(watch where you walk as to not step in chewing gum)alittle spray paint, shopping carts everywhere,merchandise on the floor, empty packaging from stolen merchandise, crying screeming babies,huge check out lines,( have to bring the WHOLE FAMILY) marble mouth speaking cashiers that look like they just rolled out of bed.

Well this Dick says DICK needs a good enema. First and foremost a business, any business, will survive and prosper providing 3 criteria are met. They are: 1. Give your customers what they want at: 2. A price they're willing to pay, and: 3. Provide good customer service and support. SORRY DICK, but WalMart does all of these things. If all those small businesses that WalMart has put out of business had been able to provide those criteria, THEY WOULD STILL BE IN BUSINESS!!! Just one more in a long line of reasons to STOP shopping Walmart! Our area is saturated with Hispanics who refuse to learn a single word of English except yes and no and even that they don't bother with much. I could wish this idea would bomb but the Hispanic population is the fastest growing in the nation so it will work. Another nail in the coffin that is killing America.

I couldnt agree less than I do with most of you. The generation before your moms and dads were the ones that screwed this up. Remember why they came, because they couldnt make it in their old countries. Sound familour, and they wouldnt allow their native language used outside of the home. So they didnt go anywhere but with their own. Think of all the people that would speak 2 or 3 languages if they would have past their customs down. If your children do not know another language, spanish comes to mind, they will never live as well as the others that do. What were those people ashamed of? A melting pot is not a group that forgets all their culture, Its a mix that we all take the best from and make it our own. How sad all those people that never spoke because they were ashamed and all the things we could have learned from them. Thats a true melting pot. Dont be afraid to learn, remember its not wrong, its only different.So americans either get with the changes or just sit on your fat ass complaining.

If Walmart does build these stores I will assure them I will NEVER shop at another one of their stores, ever. I disagree with catering to one ethnic group. We are in America... speak English... learn English and learn to blend in. That's why you came here. If you cannot adhere to American life I'm sure you'd be welcome back in your country and that goes for anyone nationality. Please do not attempt to change the American way!

Now is the time for the american people to band together and say ENOUGH!!!!! We have been pushed and pulled for way to long. Fight Back. No more just sitting on your butt complaing,do something! Protest...March....Write your politicians....Thousands of men and women died defending our way of life,don't let their deaths be in vain. Elgato, I try to not respond to the simple minded rascists that seem to miss the point of these article-comment threads - although I am sorely tempted. I think much the same as you with regard to WalMart's hideous treatment of employees. I've not shopped there for over 10 years and encourage my friends and acquaintances to do likewise. I'm beginning to think my acquaintances are simple minded too - they continue to support that corporation - destroying my small town and shooting themselves in the foot.

Well if they do open the new store I sure the F hope they transfer my boss from the Walmart store I work at to the new store, because he does not speak a word of english and the other 3 people in my department speak very little english so they may as well transfer them too. And then maybe hire some english speaking people to fill their jobs. Or am I forced to learn to speak spanish so as to be able to understand just what they are trying to tell me?

I scrolled down to the comments expecting a discourse on the duress Walmart will place on existing supermercados but was greeted with everyday bigotry.
