Apparently Daily Show host Jon Stewart isn't quite done with his Jim Cramer-bashing -- but in this case, he has a point. Dykstra filed for bankruptcy last week and then followed that up with a CNBC interview that made Sarah Palin's Katie Couric adventure look like the Gettysburg Address.Stewart dug up a clip of Cramer lavishing praise on the former New York Met as "one of the great ones" in the investment business.
In the past, I've taken Cramer to task for his decision to put this guy on a pedestal, especially given the unusual nature of how they met. Back in April of last year, I wrote that "It makes you wonder: do you really want to take options trading advice from a guy who got his job as an investment guru at least in part because he sent Jim Cramer's sister a signed poster? Just saying." Then came the allegations that Dykstra wasn't even coming up with his own trading ideas for his TheStreet.com column.
Cramer and Stewart declared a truce when they appeared together on The Daily Show, but Stewart couldn't resist coming back for more on this story. I can't say I blame him. Watch the video below.

Is amazing that self-righteous pinhead like Jon Stewart spends all this energy on the host of a tv show. For a supposed political commentator, you think he would reserver some of anger for the people that are, you know, actually spending this country into bankruptcy. I guess he is drunk on koolaide.

But with all the bull floating around in the investment pond
Cramer should've done a little due diligence on this guy.

I LOVE HIM! Jon Stewart's satire is brilliant! It's too bad he doesn't have an actual news program. We can actually be better informed with current affairs with the Daily Show than just about any other so-call news outlet. Even with the shenanigans and foul language he is better than most.
As for Cramer, how much longer does this guy get to keep a job making one huge mistake after another???

You really think that Cramer was being unfairly treated by the Daily Show *before* this Dykstra deal? Seriously?
This proves/justifies everything Stewart initially called Cramer out on.

This is really embarrassing for Cramer. I don't know what he was basing his glowing review of Dykstra on, but it really calls into question his judgment.
