Options Update: Amex Energy Select volatility flat at 30 on $74 oil

Amex Energy Select (XLE) closed at $55.77. Crude oil futures are recently up 0.04% to $73.96 according to Bloomberg. XLE December option implied volatility is at 30, January is at 29; versus its 26-week average of 32, according to Track Data, suggesting non-directional price movement.

PowerShares DB Gold Fund (DGL) closed at $41.36. Gold is recently down 0.11% to $1162.70 according to Bloomberg. DGL over all option implied volatility of 29 is near its 26-week average of 27 according to Track Data, suggesting non-directional price movement.
