  • Ford Motor Co. (F) reported its first annual profit in four years due to cost-cutting and improved market share.
  • Halliburton Co. (HAL) reported lower Q4 earnings but beat estimates by a penny, and revenue also fell.
  • Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) shares sold-off after it posted disappointing Q4 earnings and lower revenue.
  • Mattel Inc. (MAT) beat Q4 earnings estimates, helped by increased operating efficiency and lower commodity cost.
  • Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) strong Q2 results were driven by demand for Windows 7 but cash flow declined.
  • Nintendo Co. Ltd. (NTDOY) net profit soared because of currency issues and topped earnings estimates.
  • Privatebancorp Inc. (PVT) shares soared after it posted a smaller-than-expected net loss for Q4.
  • Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) posted better-than-expected Q1 earnings but lowered its Q2 earnings forecast.
  • Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) reported strong results for Q4 though operational cash flow declined.
  • United States Steel Corp. (X) posted a bigger-than-expected Q4 loss and forecast a similar loss in Q1.
  • US Airways Group Inc. (LCC) narrowed its net loss in Q4 despite lower revenue due in part to lower fuel costs.
  • VistaPrint (VPRT) reported stellar Q2 results and 1.8 million new customers and growing repeat business.
  • Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) Q4 earnings were in line with expectations and revenue fell due in part to touch competition.
