The Wal-Mart Way -- how bad could it be?

As Wal-Mart begins to expands its offerings to items such as organic produce and cotton pajamas, it naturally targets a slightly higher-income audience. But that also pits the chain in competition with the poshest stores in town; notably, Whole Foods, whose purchase of Wild Oats means more, better service, in more neighborhoods where Wal-Mart wishes to reign.
