Jul 13th 2011 3:31AM Americans are still so uncertain about moving toward advanced solar themral technologies away from photovoltaics. maybe they dont want to use too much aluminium which is a very big part of solar thermal energy. We are not certain about living with higher aluminium prices that can happen if we move toward solar thermal energy. We want to keep aluminium prices so cheap so that other big iindustrial users lke Boeings, General Electtrics, Ford Motors dont have to lose money . We are so uncertain ,still..

Too big government? Blames go around . I blame high oil prices the most but most people dont. so goes the economic uncertainity!!

Mar 14th 2011 12:16PM Yes it is healthy to chop wood and burning off calories with one BUT..... it is not healthy for your neighbors to breath firewood smoke you let out of your fireplace or wood stove.. Chop all wood for all i care as long as you dont burn them.. Why is it that we are trying to be healthy at the same time breathing in firewood smoke with all that gunky soot and particulates 2.5 micron and 10 micron in sizes.. Yuck! We lamented at coal fired powerplants for global warming but those plants trap all the same soot that we didnt with our fireplaces and stoves.. SHEER NONSENSE!! UNHEALTHY!! All the healthy habits you use is coming undone by breathing smoke.... If you like smoke,, start a forest fire!!
