May 26th 2011 12:09PM In California and elsewhere, new homes must have CFL lights throughout. They cost a LOT more, give off poor light, and are considered to be hazardous. What is the benefit of doing this other then the government has a feel good attitude, but the public (you and me) bear the cost. This is another example of the Big Brother telling us what is good for us.

Apr 14th 2011 9:07PM There is NO one thing that will guarantee success. It is a very complex set of issues and cannot be put into simple sentences. One guy says, it is simply passion - - - that is total B.S. along with the statement that you have to hire good people, for what? to try and sell a product that nobody wants. In short there is NO answer to this question.
I borrowed $5,000 from my mother and over 45 yrs opened 7 stores, sent over 400 kids through college by giving them jobs and this was due to a LOT of different circumstances, not just one - - - there is NO simple answer to the question.

Feb 15th 2011 1:14PM The ratings should be based on how well a product works, not how green it is or how the people were treated who made it. Those are other issues. Two tin cans with a string in between would probably get the highest rating using these parameters.

He thinks that the government is the answer but it is the problem. The government grows and grows while the private sector which supplies the money to the government shrinks. This is unsustainable and the entire world knows it. It is called Socialism, and that has never worked in the history of the world. BUT Obama thinks he can make it work - - -
