JockStocks: Tiger will be okay ... trust me {BloggingStocks}

Dec 4th 2009 12:24PM Mark, you are correct, much has changed. The other shoe?
What if there's a little cub running around someplace and what if one of these women starts talking about illicit behavior? The difference? Phelps is a kid and Olympic swimmers have the half-lives of gnats. Once the torch is extinguished and Dateline stops calling it's back to the pool. Kellogg's figured that Phelps probably wasn't going to make it to London and made a business decision probably helped financially by an ethics clause. Pot is a non-issue today and it hardly would've besmirched his reputation with the under eighteen crowd.

It will be interesting to see if Tiger returns in Jan. or decides to take a hiatus from the sport. Personally I think this is a non-story and the women involved are whores and home wreckers of the first order. In the end he got what he wanted and so will they. The sponsors? They will take him a long time to recover. My daughter is 12-years-old and watched golf because of Tiger. She even went to a tournament and walked the course on a hot day just to watch him. I've met Tiger and I find it hard to believe he was so stupid because he was so unfailingly polite and accommodating.

When we went to the tournament I told my daughter that one day should would tell people that she went to a tournament when she was younger and saw this great man play golf and grown men would swoon. Now they might cringe.

Dec 2nd 2009 6:43PM Google = Microsoft. Sooner or later these folks end-up raising their right hands. The potential for chicanery is just too apparent. Once upon a time people believed that AOL was the internet. Today people believe Google to be the internet.
Phones, ads, news, etc......At some point this will change from being a natural monopoly to simply being a monopoly.

Dec 2nd 2009 11:06AM Thanks Sheldon. I think you're one of the few writers on this site who actually creates rather than distributes or comments and in a world gone mad with information it's noteworthy. Now if we can only get you noticed by our pal Rupert you're good to go.

Nov 30th 2009 9:15PM I've been looking at ICICI also but can investors trust the numbers coming out of China and India? I read someplace that non-performing loans in India have jumped 50% in one year. Where were the top ten last year?

Nov 30th 2009 1:51PM Kudos to Tiger's next door neighbor who showed remarkable restraint by not blabbing his name all over the scanner. Of course, it's all downhill from here. Even TechTicker's Henry Blodgett, he of banned for life from the security industry, managed to offer his adroit analysis. Really, this is a personal matter. No booze, no drugs, the glass has been cleaned-up so leave Tiger and his wife alone to sort out whatever difficulties they're experiencing. Besides, maybe the good boy needed an edge and judging from your choice of stock photo few folks will miss the swoosh. My bet? Sales actually increase.

Now what I really want to know about is the relationship between Henry Blodgett and Aaron Task on Yahoo's TechTicker. I heard they had a horrible slap down the other day at Starbucks in mid-town Manhattan. Evidently Aaron deleted Henry's Miley Cyrus' tunes from his IPod and replaced them with Taylor Swift's vocal stylings. Offense was taken; gifts will be returned.
