We had three days of rallies and the action at the end of the day made this a fourth straight day of rallying. In fact, buying interest led to closing right near the highs of the trading day. <br />

The company will replace Millipore (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/millipore-corporation/mil/nys">MIL</a>), which will be acquired by Merck KGaA. When stocks are added to major indices like the S&amp;P, it is usually seen as a bullish indicator, since all tracking funds will need to add ACE to their holdings. If you think that the stock won't fall by too much in the coming months, then now could be a good time to look at a bullish hedged trade on ACE.<br />
<br />
ACE opened this morning at $55.45. So far today the stock has hit a low of $54.58 and a high of $55.66. As of 12:30, ACE is trading at $55.39 up $3.17 (6.1%). The chart for ACE looks bullish and <a href="http://www.iotogo.com/spoutlookonline" target="_blank">S&amp;P</a> gives ACE a positive 4 STARS (out of 5) buy ranking.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/07/09/ace-to-join-sandp-500/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>ACE to Join S&amp;P 500</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/07/09/ace-to-join-sandp-500/">ACE to Join S&amp;P 500</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 09 Jul 2010 14:00:00 EST. In fact, we've seen some pretty stellar results from the likes of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/amazon-com-inc/amzn/nas">Amazon.com </a>(NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/amazon-com-inc/amzn/nas">AMZN</a>), <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/apple-inc/aapl/nas">Apple </a>(NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/apple-inc/aapl/nas">AAPL</a>), and <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/yahoo-inc/yhoo/nas">Yahoo!</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/yahoo-inc/yhoo/nas">YHOO</a>). <br /><br />Then there was the <a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/2009/10/21/latest-fed-beige-book-survey-shows-the-economy-mending-slowly/">Fed's Beige Book </a>report, which suggested that the U.S. economy had stabilized -- and even improved a bit in some sectors.</p>

Greenspan also called for the government to give homeowners who have problems paying their mortgage, some sort of financial aid.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the holiday shopping season isn't going too well at both brick-and-mortar as well as online retailers. The weather has <a href="http://money.aol.com/news/articles/_a/retailers-look-to-last-minute-shopping/n20071217011209990002">kept many from shopping the past weekend</a>, as did economic concerns.
