Airgas: Still Undervalued

As expected, patient investors are being rewarded with Airgas (ARG), first discussed here on June 24, 2009 at a price of $39.89, on likely firmer results in the second half of 2010.

Airgas also recently formally rejected a $60-62 takeover offer from Air Products (APD), stating that the price range undervalues ARG, and that's the view from here, as well.

Airgas: Pull-back is buy opportunity

Investors who think long-term with Airgas Inc. (ARG) will be rewarded, and that's a major reason I'm reiterating my buy rating for the company's shares, first recommended on June 24, 2009 at a price of $39.89. If you bought Airgas in June, you're up about 19%.

Institutional investors have looked past near-term sluggish revenue to projected brighter quarters in FY2010, hence I'm Reiterating my Buy rating for the company, first recommended on June 24, 2009 at a price of $39.89. If you bought ARG then, you're up about 22%.
