<p>Investors were pleased last week, when Amdocs reported Q2 EPS of 58 cents and revenues of $774.3 million. The Street had been looking for 57 cents and $761.7 million. The CEO noted particular strength in the managed services businesses. The firm also guided Q3 EPS to 59-61 cents (59 cent consensus), Q3 revenues to $790-$805 million ($784.36M consensus), FY08 EPS to $2.31-$2.37 ($2.35 consensus) and FY08 revenues to $3.09-$3.15 billion ($3.1B consensus). Wedbush Morgan subsequently reiterated its "strong buy" rating on the issue (tgt = $42) and Cantor Fitzgerald reiterated its "buy" (tgt = $45)</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/04/23/amdocs-limited-dox-share-price-cycles-in-bullish-flag/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Amdocs Limited (DOX): Share price cycles in bullish 'flag'</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/04/23/amdocs-limited-dox-share-price-cycles-in-bullish-flag/">Amdocs Limited (DOX): Share price cycles in bullish 'flag'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Wed, 23 Apr 2008 11:57:00 EST. Yesterday came news of the Israeli company <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nur-macroprinters-ltd/nurmf/nao?tabs=quotesandnews">NetManage, Inc.</a> (NASDAQ:<font color="#0b6490"> <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/netmanage-incorporated/netm/nas">NETM</a></font>) being <a href="http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/071212/20071212005372.html?.v=1" onclick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/outgoing/biz.yahoo.com/bw/071212/20071212005372.html?.v=1');"><font color="#0b6490">acquired</font></a> by Rocket Software for approximately $69 million, a 95% premium over the previous days closing price. That is also coming on the heals of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/hewlett-packard-company/hpq/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Hewlett-Packard Company</a> (NYSE: <font color="#0b6490"><a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/hewlett-packard-company/hpq/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">HPQ</a></font>)'s <a href="http://israelnewsletter.com/2007/12/10/hewlett-packardhpq-buys-another-israeli-company/"><font color="#0b6490">purchase </font></a>of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nur-macroprinters-ltd/nurmf/nao?tabs=quotesandnews">Nur Macroprinters Ltd.</a> (OTC: <font color="#0b6490"><a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nur-macroprinters-ltd/nurmf/nao?tabs=quotesandnews">NURMF.pk</a></font>) earlier in the week. <a href="http://israelnewsletter.com/2007/11/07/the-israeli-4-horsemen/">Israeli</a> M&amp;A is back with a vengeance. A very slow year up until now has suddenly turned hotter than the New England Patriots.</p>
<p>With the focus squarely back on foreign firms picking up <a href="http://israelnewsletter.com/israeli-stocks-trading-in-the-us/"><font color="#0b6490">Israeli</font></a> publicly traded firms for cheap, here are 3 M&amp;A picks for to keep an eye on.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/12/13/3-israeli-takeover-targets/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Three Israeli takeover targets</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/12/13/3-israeli-takeover-targets/">Three Israeli takeover targets</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Thu, 13 Dec 2007 18:24:00 EST. One of the best known developers of the specialty programs is headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri.</p>

<p>The stock popped on Monday, powering through 50-day and 200-day moving average resistance levels, on rumors of the potential for a bid from <a href="http://www.bloggingbuyouts.com/">private equity</a>. There was clearly interest in June $40 calls that day, implying more than just idle chatter. <br /></p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/05/25/amdocs-limited-smoothing-your-transactions-with-the-phone-compa/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Amdocs: Smoothing your transactions with the phone company</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2007/05/25/amdocs-limited-smoothing-your-transactions-with-the-phone-compa/">Amdocs: Smoothing your transactions with the phone company</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 25 May 2007 17:40:00 EST.
