After all, talk is cheap, but when insiders put their own money on the line, you should sit up and take note.</p>
<p>American Superconductor Corp (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/american-superconductor-corporation/amsc/nas" class="inlinked">AMSC</a>) topped the insider-buying charts for the week ending July 9th as insiders snapped up 200,000 shares of company stock at a market value of $5,657,600. During the past six months, insiders have increased their overall holdings in the company by 27.24% and now own 10.05% of AMSC stock.</p>
<p>Mediamind Technologies Inc (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/mediamind-technologies-inc/mdmd/nas" target="_blank">MDMD</a>) was not far behind, with insiders buying 380,200 shares at a market value of $4,372,302. Insiders now own 0.00% of the company's stock after decreasing their overall holdings by 0.00% during the past six months.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/08/30/insiders-snapping-up-american-superconductor-mediamind-and-more/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Insiders Snapping Up American Superconductor, Mediamind and More</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/08/30/insiders-snapping-up-american-superconductor-mediamind-and-more/">Insiders Snapping Up American Superconductor, Mediamind and More</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Mon, 30 Aug 2010 12:30:00 EST. (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/america-s-cart-mart-inc/crmt/nas">CRMT</a>), an automotive retailer whose colleagues include AutoNation Inc. (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/autonation-inc/an/nys">AN</a>) and CarMax Inc. (<a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/carmax-inc/kmx/nys">KMX</a>), reported what I thought was an excellent fourth quarter. But the shares aren't performing how one might think they would perform given the data.<br />
<br />
At the time of this writing during the afternoon session, my screen showed a quote of $24.53 for the stock. That was up three little pennies. Not much action there, my trading friends. And I'll tell you, there hasn't been much excitement in the stock over the last few months. If you take a look at the <a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/charts/america-s-cart-mart-inc/crmt/nas/tech-chart">following chart</a>, you'll see a narrow, boring range of sideways action.<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/06/03/americas-car-marts-engine-ran-smoothly-in-the-fourth-quarter/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>America's Car-Mart's Engine Ran Smoothly in the Fourth Quarter</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/06/03/americas-car-marts-engine-ran-smoothly-in-the-fourth-quarter/">America's Car-Mart's Engine Ran Smoothly in the Fourth Quarter</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Thu, 03 Jun 2010 18:00:00 EST. Like the other big Canadian banks did last week, Bank of Nova Scotia (<a class="inlinked" href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/bank-of-nova-scotia-halifax/bns/nys">BNS</a>) is expected to post strong second-quarter results. The same is true of Shoe Carnival (<a class="inlinked" href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/shoe-carnival-inc/scvl/nas">SCVL</a>) and its competitor Collective Brands (<a class="inlinked" href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/collective-brands-inc/pss/nys">PSS</a>). But the earnings highlight of the week may come from America's Car-Mart Inc. (<a class="inlinked" href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/quotes/america-s-cart-mart-inc/crmt/nas">CRMT</a>).</p>
<p>Bentonville Ark.-based <strong>America's Car-Mart</strong>, the largest publicly traded used auto retailer in the U.S., opened <a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/rtn/pr/america-s-car-mart-announces-openings-of-new-dealerships-in-texas-and-oklahoma/rfid320844645/?channel=pf">new dealerships</a> and upgraded its <a href="http://www.dailyfinance.com/rtn/pr/sip-trunking-with-shoretel-helps-america-s-car-mart-enhance-the-customer-experience/rfid323405708/?channel=pf">communications infrastructure</a> in its fiscal fourth quarter. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expect its earnings to have risen more than 25% from the same period of the previous year. Revenue for the three months that ended in April is expected to have risen about 14% in the past year. The consensus forecast for the full year has EPS up more than 30% and revenue up about 13%. The company's per-share earnings have beat consensus estimates in past four quarters, by as much as 45%.</p><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/05/30/the-week-in-preview-employment-ism-indexes-earnings-crmt-cs/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>The Week in Preview: Employment, ISM Indexes, Earnings (CRMT, CSIQ, HOV)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2010/05/30/the-week-in-preview-employment-ism-indexes-earnings-crmt-cs/">The Week in Preview: Employment, ISM Indexes, Earnings (CRMT, CSIQ, HOV)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Sun, 30 May 2010 12:30:00 EST. And for the most part, the expectations of the analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters aren't very high. We were able to maintain the positive sales momentum that began well over a year ago. In fact, for the nine-month period, unit sales are up strongly at 7.7%, revenues are up 11.6% and same store revenue growth is up 11.2%." <br /><p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/03/03/americas-car-mart-beats-the-recession/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>America's Car-Mart beats the recession</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2009/03/03/americas-car-mart-beats-the-recession/">America's Car-Mart beats the recession</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Tue, 03 Mar 2009 15:20:00 EST.
