Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) announced the election of Leo Apotheker as CEO and President and Ray Lane, Managing Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, as nonexecutive chairman. Hewlett-Packard closed down $1.30 to $40.77. Overall option implied volatility of 29 is below its 26-week average of 31, according to Track Data, suggesting slightly decreasing price movement.

CBOE S&P 500 2% OTM BuyWrite Index (BXY) closed at 874.95, above 200 day-moving average of 811.46. BXY uses the same methodology as the widely accepted CBOE S&P 500 BuyWrite Index (BXM), but the BXY Index is calculated using out-of-the-money S&P 500 Index (SPX) call options, rather than at-the-money SPX call options.
