I know when it was going up, the talk was that all of these new funds were indexing trillions to commodities and it was just going to stay there, and that's why there was a new level of oil demand. <br /><br /> Can those same accounts come in every day and take this relentless pasting no matter what the news? And do they believe the news, that they are losing money today because some storm went to Daytona and not to New Orleans? <br /><br /> Yesterday, I had Jim Hackett, the CEO of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/anadarko-petroleum-corporation/apc/nys">Anadarko Pete</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/anadarko-petroleum-corporation/apc/nys">APC</a>) (<a href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&amp;puc=aoljjc&amp;tkr=APC" target="blank">Cramer's Take</a>) on "Mad Money at the Half," and he was flabbergasted at the activity in the futures pit and how unrealistic it has become. He's focused on natural gas, where he says the demand at $8 by industry -- the glass makers and chemical companies and steel and aluminum users -- is voracious. But the futures themselves just keep going down, regardless of the demand. <p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/08/19/cramer-on-bloggingstocks-institutions-are-flooding-the-nat-gas/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Cramer on BloggingStocks: Institutions are flooding the nat gas futures </em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/08/19/cramer-on-bloggingstocks-institutions-are-flooding-the-nat-gas/">Cramer on BloggingStocks: Institutions are flooding the nat gas futures </a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Tue, 19 Aug 2008 08:58:00 EST. Days where it is so crazy, where the selling never ends and the buying never ends. Where the sellers just keep reloading and the buyer just keep buying. <br /><br /> Some of it seems like short-covering panic and some of it seems like sellers who can't take the pain anymore. As I watched <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/cabot-oil-and-gas-corporation/cog/nys">Cabot Oil &amp; Gas</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/cabot-oil-and-gas-corporation/cog/nys">COG</a>) (<a href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&amp;puc=aoljjc&amp;tkr=COG" target="blank">Cramer's Take</a>) -- a very good company, a company that priced a gigantic piece of merchandise 30% higher a fortnight ago -- go down more than 10% today, I am astonished at the market's inefficiency. <br /><br /> When I see <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nucor-corporation/nue/nys">Nucor</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nucor-corporation/nue/nys">NUE</a>) (<a href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&amp;puc=aoljjc&amp;tkr=NUE" target="blank">Cramer's Take</a>) decline 10% on a good quarter and conservative guidance, I marvel at how ridiculous things are. Sure, you can say if you look at a three-year chart, "This is the end of the bubble." But how about value? How about the fact that COG is making much more money than it ever has and is unlikely, given the big shift toward natural gas, ever to make as little money as it did a few years ago?<p><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/07/18/cramer-on-bloggingstocks-look-to-cabot-nucor-if-when-oil-bubble-pops/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Cramer on BloggingStocks: Look to Cabot, Nucor if/when oil bubble pops</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com/2008/07/18/cramer-on-bloggingstocks-look-to-cabot-nucor-if-when-oil-bubble-pops/">Cramer on BloggingStocks: Look to Cabot, Nucor if/when oil bubble pops</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">BloggingStocks</a> on Fri, 18 Jul 2008 09:19:00 EST. <ul>
<li>Wachovia downgraded shares of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/webex-communications-inc/webx/nas?tabs=quotesandnews">WebEx Communications Inc</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/webex-communications-inc/webx/nas?tabs=quotesandnews">WEBX</a>) to Market Perform from Outperform to reflect the company's pending acquisition by Cisco Systems (CSCO). </li>
<li>Bank of America cut <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/avaya-inc/av/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Avaya Inc</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/avaya-inc/av/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">AV</a>) to Neutral from Buy with a $13 target after taking in account the company's acquisition of Ubiquity Software Corp Plc. The firm believes sales may miss consensus for the next few quarters, while gross operating margins could disappoint. </li>
<li>CIBC downgraded <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/tractor-supply-company/tsco/nas?tabs=quotesandnews">Tractor Supply Co</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/tractor-supply-company/tsco/nas?tabs=quotesandnews">TSCO</a>) to Sector Performer from Sector Outperformer. The firm sees some moderate upside for shares of TSCO but says it will be incrementally more difficult to achieve without a major fundamental driver in the near-term. </li>
    <li>WestLB AG downgraded shares of <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nokia-corporation/nok/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Nokia </a>(NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nokia-corporation/nok/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">NOK</a>) to Reduce from Hold. </li>

        <li>First Albany downgraded <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/cerner-corporation/cern/nas?tabs=quotesandnews">Cerner Corp</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/mattel-inc/mat/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">CERN</a>) to Neutral from Buy. </li>

        <li>BMO Capital cut both <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/anadarko-petroleum-corporation/apc/nys">Anadarko Petroleum Corp</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/anadarko-petroleum-corporation/apc/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">APC</a>) and <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/cabot-oil-and-gas-corporation/cog/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">Cabot Oil &amp; Gas Corp</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/cabot-oil-and-gas-corporation/cog/nys?tabs=quotesandnews">COG</a>) to Underperform from Market Perform.</li>
